Home Cooked - Chinese Foods in Orebro, Sweden

This is a Chinese Restaurant that run by my uncle in Orebro, Sweden.
This is a typical Chinese foods that served at Asian Chinese Restaurant in Sweden.
To me theres no one bit of "Chinese" in the dish. But i really like those fried prawns!
A lot of Swedes would order fried prawns and fried chicken bits tgt with rice.

The dish above is best seller, normally they would serve in bigger portion with only 1 / 2 kind of cooked foods to serve with rice.
Some of the Swedes would order fried vegetable noodle with rice. To me, thats ridiculous.

On the left, its stirred fried beef and bamboo shot with dark sauce.
The dish served in the bowl is coconut milk mixed vegetable and chicken.
Not to mention, the salad is a buffet style, like appetizer, its free.

Open Sandwich - the Swedes style. Full boiled egg with prawn (from container) and mayo.
Every night i would dine at my uncle's restaurant for dinner.
We had Chinese foods every night. Stirred fried bak chou and grilled duck
Stirred fried broccoli with white mushroom (i love mushroom) and teriyaki sauce with pan seared salmon.
In the morning, I made breakfast for 2 before heading out.
Really good sausage (crunchy and bouncy), ham (really good) and cheese (yum!)
None of them can be bought/found in Asian... gah
Slow fried Chicken (zha ze gei) and stirred fried Napa cabbage and mushroom etc.
Soup egg noodle with wan ton
Curry flavoured egg noodle with spring rolls (chun jun)
Soup hot fun with beef balls yum!
Homemade breakfast at my best attempt
I had this Korean instant noodle for lunch that i brought over cause missed it so much.
Beef steak with béarnaise sauce and fries cooked by my uncle!
 Last dinner! BAK KUN TEH.
Had Malaysian famous bak kun teh in oversea made me feel warm inside out.

Thats the Overall Chinese foods that i had (of course there were more, I was too lazy to snap them) during my stay in Orebro, Sweden about 10 days. heh!

Teatime at Ben & Jerry's, Gamla Stan, Stockholm, Sweden

Gamla Stan; an old town built in the 12th - 18th Century, the buildings were well kept, neatly built, well maintained, enjoyable, the crowds started to kick at 12pm - 1pm everyday.
I enjoyed sauntering around Gamla Stan, up and down, seeking for interesting stuff, a window design or vintage entrance door simply kept me wandering, appreciating history even more.

One moment i would pop in a second-hand book store, another moment i would stare at the vintage collectors, or a group of performances just showed out of nowhere that caught everyone's attention.
Simple as that yet excitement is all over the place.

During this trip, I went there for at least 4 times, lingered around, never wanted to leave this place.

As I was walking there for the second time, I went to Ben & Jerry's for my all time favourite - rum & raisin ice cream.
Finally an ice cream that wouldn't melt!

Ice cream store: Ben & Jerry's
Location: Gamla Stan, Stockholm, Sweden

Teatime at Muffin Bakery, Stockholm, Sweden

As I was walking around nearby Östermalmstorg in Stockholm, the crowds were very happening, there were performances singing at the side, passing by mass fashion brands, souvenirs stores and then I reached to a quiet end (not end).

There I stood, in front of Muffin Bakery, it somehow attracted me, welcomed me.
The waitress greeted me in a delighted welcoming tone, so I asked for the best seller muffin, well it had to be brownie cheesecake!

That was like the best muffin i have ever tasted, kind of hard crispy (but not overly) on the surface, melted brownie in the centre, cheesecake tasted so good I couldn't describe.
HEAVENLY GOOD BROWNIE CHEESECAKE MUFFIN!
I can't ever find that in KL or anywhere else garhhhhh;

There displayed varieties of sandwiches, pies, cream puff, huge chocolate ball with pearl sugar, & other pastries yum!

*Its so goddamn good I went for the second time before leaving Sweden

Lunch at Hötorgshallen Saluhall, Stockholm, Sweden

Strawberry, blueberry, raspberry, avocado, mango, oranges, white asparagus, etc.

A famous statue at Hay Market. American Apparel spotted! PRETTY but i can't afford them.

We were strolling around Hötorget Market (Hay Market).
This is a daytime market that a few stalls group together selling flowers, fresh fruits, miscellaneous, secondhand stuffs.

There are more foreigners from Arab countries lingering and doing business in this area.
and beggers. quite a lot beggars from Arabic countries lingering in the street.
This is also another shopping spot where you can find many Swedish mass fashion brands and cafes.

Anyway, so we went to Hötorgshallen Saluhall (food hall) for lunch.
The not-so-burger looking is sold by an Arab (or I so thought they looked like Arab).
It consisted of a piece of large feta cheese, tomato, eggplant (if i remember) and meat patty.
Its so big I can only finish half of it.

Price: $25 kronor and above. You will find varieties of foods selling there.
